How to Request Account Deletion

To request the deletion of your Jimarl Homes account and associated data, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Jimarl Homes account
  2. Go to Profile Settings
  3. Click on the "Delete Account" button at the bottom of the page
  4. Confirm your decision by entering your password
  5. Alternatively, you can email our support team at support@jimmarlhomes.co.ke with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"

Data Deletion Information

The following data will be permanently deleted:

  • Personal profile information (name, email, phone number)
  • Booking history and preferences
  • Saved properties and favorites
  • Property listings (for property owners)
  • Reviews and ratings you've provided
  • Push notification subscriptions
  • Payment information

Data Retention:

  • Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days
  • Some information may be retained for legal compliance purposes for up to 90 days after deletion
  • Anonymized analytical data may be retained for improving our services
  • Completed booking records are retained for tax and accounting purposes as required by law

Additional Information

  • Active bookings must be completed or cancelled before account deletion
  • Property owners must resolve any pending transactions or disputes before account deletion
  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • You will receive an email confirmation once your account deletion is complete
