How to Request Account Deletion
To request the deletion of your Jimarl Homes account and associated data, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your Jimarl Homes account
- Go to Profile Settings
- Click on the "Delete Account" button at the bottom of the page
- Confirm your decision by entering your password
- Alternatively, you can email our support team at support@jimmarlhomes.co.ke with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
Data Deletion Information
The following data will be permanently deleted:
- Personal profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Booking history and preferences
- Saved properties and favorites
- Property listings (for property owners)
- Reviews and ratings you've provided
- Push notification subscriptions
- Payment information
Data Retention:
- Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days
- Some information may be retained for legal compliance purposes for up to 90 days after deletion
- Anonymized analytical data may be retained for improving our services
- Completed booking records are retained for tax and accounting purposes as required by law
Additional Information
- Active bookings must be completed or cancelled before account deletion
- Property owners must resolve any pending transactions or disputes before account deletion
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- You will receive an email confirmation once your account deletion is complete
